The Green Bums story starts in Western Australia in 2004.  After building the business from the ground up, in 2009 Shona decided to take on new challenges and Green Bums changed hands.  That's where I come in.
My name is Allison, I am Mum to two gorgeous boys, and owner of Green Bums Nappies.  When my first son was born I didn't know the first thing about Modern Cloth Nappies.  I knew my mum had used flannelette nappies and plastic pilchers for us kids, but I didn't have time to study the Origami needed to fold the things and thought all the soaking and bleaching and washing was too much hard work, not to mention bad for my budget and the environment!
When a friend mentioned to me she was putting her baby in cloth I thought she was mad.... Until she showed me the gorgeous MCN's she was using.  That was it, I was converted!  From there to owning Green Bums has been a very interesting journey and I've loved every minute of it.  I love what I do, and I'm very excited to be sharing my work with you.

The Fine Print
There's a few things you should know before you purchase from Green Bums.  I take great care with my work, but I'm only human and sometimes I make mistakes.  If your Green Bums nappy has a fault, please let me know and I will do whatever I can to rectify the situation.  Refunds are not issued except where required by law.  For all orders, payment needs to be made within 3 days or contact made to discuss the delay.  Any orders where we have not received payment or contact from the buyer within the 3 day period will be cancelled and the items returned to inventory for sale.  Prices on this website are in Australian dollars.  Postage calculated in the checkout apply to Australian addresses only.  If you are purchasing from overseas please contact us first to get a quote for postage costs. 

Privacy: Green Bums is committed to protecting the privacy of all our customers.  We will not give your personal information to any other party at any time.  When you place an order with us, we will add your email address to our own mailing list to keep you up to date with all our sales and special events.  We respect your right to request to be removed from the mailing list, and will action any such requests as soon as we possibly can.

Customs:  If you're lucky enough to grab one of our occasional custom slots, please note the sale price includes your choice of all minky, all cotton, or minky with cotton panel only, and regular postage to Australian addresses.  Embroidery and registered post are available at an additional charge.  Please note I am happy to finalise your choices with you before payment is made, but work will not start on your order until full payment is received.  If no contact is made within 3 days of purchasing the custom slot, the order will be cancelled.
